Amber Sarpy Johnson, PsyD

Dr. Sarpy Johnson is PGNNJ's senior clinical psychologist. She graduated with her PsyD from Rosemead school of Psychology in Biota University in 2000. She treats adults focusing on growth of self, with an eclectic Psychodynamic Family System approach. Her specialties include adjustment disorder, panic/anxiety, and depression. Amongst her versatile clinical experiences, she has served as a director of diversity services and a supervisor of clinical psychology students.

Steven Hertler, PsyD
Clinical Associate (TP# 083-921)

Dr. Hertler is permit holder of psychology and a graduate of Pace University’s Doctor of Psychology (Psy. D.) Program. He also holds a masters degree in school psychology with a NJ school certification as well as a doctorate in clinical child psychology. Dr. Hertler recognizes the value of collaboration with others and the utilization of a modern multidisciplinary approach. Dr. Hertler holds positions with the St. Barnabas health care system, Pace University and The College of New Rochelle. His specialties within clinical psychology include psychological testing and psychotherapy with children and adults.

Jasmine Aloni-Cohn, LCSW

Ms. Aloni-Cohn has 18 years of experience as a Clinical Social Worker. She received her Masters in Social Work from Fordham University School of Social Service. She also received an Advance Certificate in Psychotherapy from the Metropolitan Institute for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in New York City. She has been a therapist in various settings, including schools, employee assistance programs, outpatient mental health centers and community counseling services. She works with all age groups, providing a combination of individual, couples and family counseling.

Maggie Kelly, RN, BSN
Biofeedback Therapist

Mrs Kelly is a graduate of Rutgers University Collegeof Nursing.For over twenty five years,she has worked in various specialities within the hospital setting including Medical Surgical,Adult and Child Psychiatric,Adolescent Detoxificatio Units and Geriatric Transitional Care Unit.For seven years she performed Biofeedback training for urinary incotinenceand pelvic floor dysfunctionand receivedtraining from Medtronic Inc.Mrs Kelly has updated her Biofeedbacktraining with Erik Popper Phd and Biofeedback international Corporation of America.She joined the Psychological Group Of Northern NJ PC a year ago administering Biofeedback training to chronic and auto injured pain patients treating Post Traumatic Stress Disorders,Anxiety and Depression.She also holds certifications in Massage Therapy and Reiki 1 and 2.

Melissa Racklin-LCSW-Licensed

Ms Racklin is a licensed clinical cocial worker and a therapist who recently joined the Psychological Group of Northern NJ She received her masters degree in Social work from Ysshiva University's Wurzweiler School of Social Work in New York.She has worked extensively with aduklts,adolescents,child and geriatric populations.She has past experience working in outpatient mental health,schools in home counseling,gerriatric centers and group practice.She also holdsher certifications in various clinical areas and in clinical supervision.Her professional orietation is ecletic.She at PGNNJ patients with emotional distress set off by auto injuries.
